On Friday 9 April, people from all over the South Island will rally in Cathedral Square to express their committment to upholding the value of all human life. In New Zealand approximately 18,000 pre-born babies are killed every year. At the March for Life we will be sending the message that the time has come to address New Zealand's most prevalent form of child abuse: killing babies before they've taken their first breath.

The theme for the 2010 South Island March for Life is drawing attention to the Family Planning Association's application to become an abortion provider, committing abortions using the harmful drug RU486 by opening 30 new abortion clinics in New Zealand ... (more info)

What to bring:
Participants are encouraged to bring their own signs to the march. Signs must not be hateful or aggressive. Suggestions of slogans for signs are below:
